Omo Child

About this Project

This is Lale Labuko co-founder and Gido Sura, co-founder. writing this message.
We rescue and care for Mingi ("cursed") children from the Omo Valley tribal region in Southwest Ethiopia. Mingi is the ritualistic killing of infants and children believed to be cursed by tribes living in the remote Omo Valley region of Southwest Ethiopia. OMO CHILD's mission is to provide a safe, nurturing home and quality education for our rescued Mingi children. We hope that these children will become future leaders and change-makers in their tribes and communities. We also raise awareness about the practice of Mingi and work to see it eliminated.
We need the land cruiser vehicle to rescue the Mingi children from the tribal villages. The road to drive is off-road so we need a 4-wheel drive to rescue Mingi children from the Omo Valley tribe quickly. Please donate to save Mingi's children's lives. Please check the youtube .
